I bought this along with my other 5 speed swap parts. Another big advantage to this one it has something built into it so it gets firmer feel when you have to push to fifth or reverse to help with miss gear. This shifter seems to have a firmer feel and no rattle at all and the throw does seem to be a little shorter then others I have used.
This is a quality product I would give it more then five stars if I could. I used another short shifter for many years with no complaints. This kit sharpens up the shifter making quick shift easier and with the shorter throw it help with quicker shifting. The Zenki I bought came with this shifter on it and it is legit as (expletive) boys! Not loose and firmer than a fake pair of D-cups! You better move to each gear with a purpose. Install was about a hour as for the front two bolts I would loosen the transmission cross member to slightly lower the trans and then be able to fit the two front bolts in. With out a doubt would spend the extra cash to get this shifter over any other. It does the job well but does hurt the wallet. Some other shifters in this price range are adjustable as well. This shifter feels pretty good and it may improve with time but it’s hard to justify when it’s not too much better than the ISR which is a fraction of the price. Legal only for use in competition vehicles which may never be registered, licensed, and/or used on public streets or highways and also for use in other exempted vehicles.
